    Nutrihub is a Section 8 company established at ICAR-Indian Institute of Millets Research (IIMR) aimed at nurturing startups, innovation, entrepreneurship, and research analysis in the field of nutrition, with a specific focus on millets.

    Nutrihub is designed to benefit a wide range of stakeholders including entrepreneurs, startups, researchers, farmers, stakeholders, and consumers interested in promoting millet/nutrition-centric agriculture and food systems.
  • What support does Nutrihub offer to entrepreneurs and startups?
    Nutrihub provides a range of support in the form of services including access to production facilities, mentorship, networking opportunities, market linkages, and assistance in product development and commercialization for entrepreneurs and startups in the Millet sector.
  • How can farmers benefit from Nutrihub?
    Nutrihub offers training programs, capacity building initiatives, market linkages to empower farmers and enhance their livelihoods through diversified millet value added products and technologies.
  • What is the refund policy on Training programs?
    We do not refund or cancellations on any of our training programs. Upon request by the training program participant (in case of emergency and unforeseen circumstances), we reschedule the participant's attendance for the next training dates. For any necessary requests, the participant may Email : ceo@nutrihubiimr.com / dayakar@millets.res.in Decision taken by the competent authority would be final on the same matter.

  • Whether any Grant can be obtained through Nutrihub?
    Rashtriya Krishi Vikas Yojana – Remunerative Approaches for Agriculture and Allied Sectors Rejuvenation (RKVY-RAFTAAR) is a flagship scheme of the Government of India, Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers' Welfare (MoA&FW). Nutrihub nurtures startups and provides support to help them secure eligible Grant-in-Aid from the Government of India Project RKVY-RAFTAAR and CSR funding from stakeholders/industries for competent, innovative, and strategic seed-stage and pre-seed-stage startups. These grant funds are usually earmarked for specific purposes outlines in the grant agreement and milestone documents. For Example: Research and Development, hiring personnel, purchasing equipment or other approved expenses related to the business development.
  • What type of Trainings provided by the Nutrihub?
    1. Startup Ignition Training Program (SIP): We conduct a one-day workshop aimed at aspiring entrepreneurs interested in starting businesses in the millets domain on a charge basis. The workshop covers topics such as millet introduction, nutritional benefits, processing facilities, technology licensing procedures, and highlights incubation opportunities, with the main objective of igniting entrepreneurial journeys in the millets sector. 2. Cooking with Millets Training Program (CWM): To address the challenge of unfamiliarity with cooking millets due to their gluten-free nature, Nutrihub offers specialized training programs in preparing millet-based recipes, including popular dishes like Idli, Muffins, and cakes etc. on a charge basis. These sessions aim to equip participants, including cooking professionals, food industry representatives, enthusiasts, and homemakers, with the skills to popularize millets through diverse culinary creations.
